frozen brine shrimp. It’s for my saltwater fish. For my freshwater I take a bowl of their tank water and melt the cube down and pour it in. I wasn’t sure if it is the same for saltwater or not.
I feed them flakes and pellets as well I just had some left over from rasing guppy fry and thought that they might like a treat.
either way is fine. i usually just drop the cube of brine into the tank so it kind of falls apart slowly making it easier for the fish to get each piece instead oif some of them getting sucked into the filter!

feed them all throughout the day in small amounts of brine shrimp, it isn’t the most nutritious though, make sure they get some flakes (pellets) too

they are not exactly treats well maybe in a way as an alternative to flakes and pellets but yeah either way is fine and it works the same way. though you could just drop the whole cube in
