Marine Ich curing with increased water temperature?

When i had my freshwater aquarium, i had success curing ich by increasing my water temp to 30 degrees Celsius. i have now changed to marine, and my clownfish has marine ich. my tank has no corals. just fish and shrimps.

MY question is will i be able to use the same method- i don’t really want to add any chemicals to my tank, and the readily available treatments contain some form of copper E.g malachite green which are toxic to invertebrates. or are there any more treatments that are “chemical free”?

What fish to get in a 10 gallon freshwater tank?

I am getting a 10 gallon fresh water tank. I plan on getting a convict cichlid. I want to get a cleaner shrimp, or a otto cat. But i hear otto cats like to be in groups of 2 or 3?
In your opinion, which should i get- a cleaner shrimp or an otto cat?
I forgot to add, I do not plan on getting a filter or a heater.
Should I?
Would the choice of shrimp or otto cat change at all?
ok i now understand that i need a filter and a heater
ok im realizing cichlids arent a good idea but i cant afford more than a 20 gallon tank at absolute most
any other good fish to put in it?

10 Gallon Freshwater Tank Stocking Question?

I have set up a 10 gallon tank about a month ago. Have been testing the water and I have gone through the cycles. I have had neon’s in the tank since the second week of setting it up. I had 3 and I lost one about a week ago to NTD. I do weekly water changes and I watch my levels closely. I’ve been talking to my local pet stores here and they talked me into buying 3 Dwarf Honey Sunset Gouramis. They are really small fish and they are very pretty.

Now what was Ideal for me was to only have 1 gourami and 3 balloon mollies and the neons and I really want some red cherry shrimp. Do the shrimp count towards my stocking count? (That may be a dumb question.)

Could I add the balloon mollies and some red cherry shrimp without overstocking my tank? I would really like both but if I was in danger of overstocking I would reconsider my purchases. Could someone help me out?
I already have the 3 gouramis and they are very small no larger than an inch. The two neons are fine together and i prob should get some more. I will prob. do 3 mollies but i just wanted to know if the shrimp would over load the biofilter or not.

The stingray is small. Are the fish I wanna add compatable tell me what is and will they all eat dead shrimp?????????

Fishless cycling with flakes: When does it end?!?

I know that with pure ammonia fishless cycling, adding ammonia and testing the water indicates a finished cycle if the ammonia is 0 in 24 hours. However, I’m using flakes and so a little ammonia is continuously released into the water.

When go to test my water, how will I get a reading of 0? If that’s not the way with flakes, then how will I know when the cycle is finished?

Also, after the cycle completes, I only plan on having my betta in there. It’s a ten gallon freshwater. Will she produce enough waste/ammonia to keep the bacteria fed? (She’s really old so I’m thinking she deserves the luxury.)

In about a month, hopefully with the cycle finished, I plan on adding 4 platies and a few ghost shrimp. I know to add them sparingly so the bacteria can acclimate. Yay! Fish for college!

Thanks!
My parameters are Ammonia 1ppm, Nitrite 1 ppm, Nitrate 5 ppm. Using flakes, would the first two ever reach 0?
Also, would 5ppm mean the cycle is getting close to ending or that the cycle hasn’t really started?
