what the best way to bbq kabobs?

the kabobs will have shrimp, beef, chicken, onion, peppers tomatoes… the question is what is the best kind of beef to cube and has right amount of fat to cook on the bbq. And what would be the best marinade to use. preferably something already made in a bottle. And about how long should they be cooked.. thanks in advance for the help.

How should I deal with an adopted 10 gallon fish tank (1 Tiger Barb, 1 CAE)?

I’ve adopted two fish in a 10 gallon. They are “what’s left” of a family member’s community tank they no longer want. I have been reading up about Tiger Barbs and CAE, and it sounds as though neither should be in a 10 gallon. I just bought a 20 gallon (for my weather loach, black moore and reg fantail that I love), so I can’t afford the money/space for a bigger tank at the moment. The two of them seem to get along ok – the odd scuffle where one bugs the other or vice versa (seems pretty even between the two in the bugging). What can I do to keep them happy? I wanted more Tiger Barbs, but I’m worried they won’t have enough space and they’ll kill each other and the CAE eventually… I’ve heard of some people putting Guppies (which I’ve always wanted) in with Tiger Barbs and the Barb keeps the fry numbers down, but I’m worried he’ll nip their fins to stubs. Would putting something completely different in there work (shrimp, aquatic frog, freshwater crab, etc?). Oh, forgot to mention, I have thought of taking them to the lfs and trading them in, but I think my family member who gave them to me might be offended, so it’s not my first choice by any means. Thanks in advance!
I am already aware my goldfish will eventually need a bigger tank.

Also, I have read up about both the Tiger and the CAE, so I didn’t need any more basic info on them, I am asking for any creative ideas people had to avoid having to take them back. Thanks

Breeding FW shrimp ?

I’ve decided I’m going to use my 10 gallon to breed freshwater shrimp. Now I’m wondering what kind of shrimp to breed, and need some info on how to go about doing it. I was thinking about crystal reds, but they’re a bit expensive. Cherry reds, on the other hand, seem too cheap and not worth breeding. Another option I was considering are yellow shrimp. What kind of shrimp would be easy to breed, and make a little money too? I’d also love any info on how to breed them, proper tank setup, etc. Links would be nice. Thanks in advance

Can I put a koi in a tank that has a fresh water shrimp?

I know that Koi aren’t meant to be kept in a tank, but I want to bring a few in–they are about 3″ in length–from my pond and put them in my tank so that they can grow a little before I put them back in the pond. Is this an okay thing to do? I have a freshwater shrimp in the tank, will the koi eat the shrimp once they get bigger? Any help would be appreciated! Also, are there any tips on helping koi grow bigger in a pond? Thanks in advance!
