URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!!?

I have just bought some river shrimp. However, I didn’t know that the aquarium store I bought it from kept them in saltwater. ,My tank is freshwater so how do I acclimatise them?

PS. I know that I should have checked first, but instead of telling me so, can you help me please?
They are still in their small travel bag, and there are 15 of them
I can acclimatate them, as they do not have to be in saltwater!
The guy (who knows a lot about invertebrates) told me so.

Also, I cannot call the store.

Can anyone actually help?
Sorry, jff, I’d wasn’t saying you were rude, I was just in a rush

Where can I get some Ghost shrimp in the mishawaka area for free or cheap?

I am looking for ghost shrimp for my tank and cant find any store that carries them. Any suggestions?
I bought my first ones at walmart and now they no longer carry them. I really want some for my other tanks. Please help.

how do I heat pre cooked, pre packaged refridgerated shrimp?

My boyfriend bought shrimp today that was already steamed and then cooled and packaged at the Grocery store in the refrigerated section of the seafood dept. I am now wondering how to heat and use this shrimp as I have only ever used raw shrimp.
P.S. This shrimp is not frozen. It is packaged like fresh hambuger or chicken would be and is sitting in the fridge. It has simply been steamed already.

I have a freshwater shrimp in my tank, what does it eat?

The pet store had it labelled as a Brown Spotted Shrimp. Cant find such a creature on the web.
He seems to be doing well, I guess.

But I was wondering what he eats.
He put his front legs up and they have “fans” on them and he looks like hes trying to catch stuff, then he puts them in his mouth.but I never see anything on them.

I have some other fish. Does he eat algae, fish food particles, what? I dont want him to starve, hes been “fanning” alot more than usual.
Yes I know I could call the pet store but I wanted to ask here.

What are we supposed to feed a red-eared slider?

I have been reading several websites about RES care and am recieving conflicting information about what to feed them. Some say it is ok to catch wild bugs (worms, crickets) as long as they are not exposed to chemicals, while another says no because of parasites. One site says commercial food should only be 25% of the diet while another says it should be the main staple. One says feeder fish from a pet store are fine on occasion (but never indicates how often) while another says no to certain feeder fish (such as goldfish). One website says ‘no’ to shrimp while commercial pellets contain shrimp. How much and how often should I feed the turtle? Will feeding him as much as he can eat in 15 minutes (in a separate tub) once a day be too much? I think he is still pretty young….he’s about 6″ long. I got him from a coworker who got him at a pet store and she was going to release him into the wild. I couldn’t let that happen, so I brought him home, but I am unprepared. I have pellots for now.
