Would amano shrimp fare well in a tank with black mollies, swordtails, a Betta and guppies? I wouldn’t want to place amano in there only to have them become snack food. Aside from amano shrimp, what other commercially available shrimp would make a good option? I considered a crayfish but then decided I didn’t want my fish to become snack food either. Basically, don’t like the idea of any of the inhabitants eating one another.
Conversely, what fish are safe to keep in a tank with amano shrimp?
Follow up question: So no adding of the Betta into the community tank. Got it. Betta is currently living in a pond with a bunch of goldfish. Everyone is getting along in there.
Okay, for the question bit: so if I keep the mollies, swords and guppies and add a few amano, that would be fine for all involved? (Cherry shrimp were my next choice but someone mentioned they would deffo get eaten?)
