There was a recipe on Emeril’s earlier this year for shrimp stuffed tomatoes but I can’t find it on his web site. He stuffed shrimp into plum tomatoes with tarragon and a cream sauce.
Does anyone know the full recipe?
I’ve been looking at SO many different types of fish combinations for a 75 gallon freshwater tank, and I have decided to go with a common favorite, a pair of Oscars. I’ve looked online, but I can’t seem to find a very reliable site for information on the species.
1. I hear feeder fish are bad for fish. I understand why. Should I stick to pellets and frozen fish foods like krill and shrimp?
2. How can you tell males and females apart? I want to get a pair of them, and I’ve read that males will fight.
3. Any way I could get away with putting in a Pleco in there as well? With weekly water changes and vacuuming.
4. I hear they like sand. How do you go about vacuuming sand? My pump takes all of the poop and debris out of the tank, and the rocks get stuck. I would imagine the sand would just get thrown out and treated like poop.
5. Are they friendly? I hear they’re very responsive to their owners.
Any other information that you feel would be an important thing to say would be great. Thank you.

i was reading about blood shrimp, they are the only good looking shrimp available at my local pet store, and the site i was reading said it was marine safe, or something along the lines of that. to me it sounded like it could be in freshwater, just by the way it was worded. so, can blood shrimp be in freshwater?
