Aquairum Lighting Question?

Hey I have a 10 gal that I’m raising feeder guppies, snails, and cherry shrimp in. I have live hornwart (freshwater plant) growing really good and have plenty of hiding areas in it for babies to hide in. I have some algae but not enough that my shrimp and snails can’t keep under control. If I leave my lights on 24/7 will the guppies, snails, and shrimp grow faster? or will it actually hurt them? Also has anyone heard of “Snail milk”? Its a product I’ve seen on ebay and wonder if it really works or if it is just a scam. Please give me your advice and opinions. Thanks

Of all of these species, which ones are incompatible?

Unfortunately Ms. Top Contributer “JC” doesn’t know how to properly read and answer a question. I asked for you to point out which species are incompatible so as to help me sort through my options.

For example: female betta, crab, shrimp, loach, livebearer, gourami, danio, catfish, barb, algae eater, cichlid (both African & South American,) newt, salamander, freshwater spiny eel, discus, knifefish, koi, fancy goldfish, and angelfish.

Question about freshwater invertebrates?

I previously tried to add ghost shrimp to my tank and I haven’t seen them at all since then, so I’m assuming they have been eaten. With that in mind, I wonder, if I were to consider a freshwater snail or even a clam, would the same thing probably happen to them?

I currently have zebra danios, dwarf gourami, black skirt tetra, rasboras, and corys in the tank.

I have a single african shrimp in my tropical fish tank is it correct that they can reproduce on the own?

I have no knowledge about african shrimps and I am curious about them. Thanks to those people who have answered my other question earlier.
