Amazing fish for 30 gallon freshwater fish tank?

For over a year and a half Ive had a 30 gallon freshwater fish tank. It’s cycling great and the water has good parameters. Currently I have one 2.5 inch pleco, 5 gold barbs(3 of them very small), and 5 ghost shrimp. Ive had many ordinary fish in thepast and I’m hoping to add some amazing fish to my tank, but not have them eat my other fish. Please give me any names or pictures of great fish to get or suggested fish websites that are good to order from/ reliable, or other places to get some really great fish. I love all of my fish and I am completely satisfied and happy with my curerent fish. So I’m fine with no comments, but I’m just looking for a few great fish that will love my tank. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Best ‘clean up crew’ for freshwater aquarium?

i have 6 kuhli loach, a colony of shrimp and 2 star light bristlenose pleco. im thinking of adding 4 or 5 cory’s. is there any other scavenger fish that are cool unique. (not a fan of corys)

ps. i know there is no such thing as a clean up crew, i do 30% water changes weekly.
its 55 gal. and it has fish that wont go well with sword tails. low ph…
yes i do understand that :P i would rather have fish waste than un eaten food.. hence more bottom feeders :)

aquarium snails dying?

I have a freshwater aquarium with guppies, molly, pleco, algae eater, otto cat, figure 8 puffer, angel fish, shrimp and neon tetras. My two snails died, but all of the fish are doing great and the tank is cycled. I do keep a small amount (smaller than 1 tbsp/5 gallons) of pure salt in the tank. I had a small brown algae diatoms outbreak at the end of the cycling of the tank.

What killed these so called “hardy” snails? What are the requirements for snails to thrive in an aquarium?

Why are my Amazon sword plants becoming transparent and brown?

I have a 55 gal. freshwater aquarium and I just bought 4 amazon swords and 4 ruffled amazon swords. In about three days I started to notice they were becoming brown and transparent. I kept observing them and it kept getting worse. I looked it up at came kept coming across the statement that my plants were just getting used to my water, I also saw that some people said that it could be a pleco. My PH is around 7.0, and a have absolutely no ammonia. Here are a list of fish that I keep in my aquarium:
-1 yoyo loach
-1 rainbow shark
-1 whisker shrimp
-1 freshwater flounder
-6 lemon tetra
-1 bristle nose pleco
-1 royal farowella
-6 zebra danio
-1 chinese algae eater
-1 upside down catfish

Hope you guys can help.
-Thanks

Ghost shrimp, what eats them?

I have a large tank with guppies, hatchets, danios, a gold fish and a 6in. pleco. I really like the little ghost shrimp and the red freshwater shrimp, I was thinking about buying some but I don’t want to spend the money if they are going to all get eaten. What do you think, will they make an expensive snack or will they be happy healthy tank mates? Thanks!
