I’ve had my bubble tip anemone for a couple of weeks now and I don’t know if he’s getting better or worse. I have him under 192 watts of power compact lighting. He’s not eating and his “lips” around his mouth is always swollen. All the water parameters are ideal. (pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, calcium, iodine). He looks kinda bleached. I was wondering if I should keep the lighting on 24-7 so it would encourage the zooxanthellae algae to grow back inside him?
the guy at the pet store told me to buy food for filter feeders to feed him. I know you’re supposed to feed anemones pieces of fish or shrimp. does anyone else feed their anemones food meant for filter feeders? does anyone have any suggestions?

I am 21 and my Grandma just made 79. She invited me over to her house for a dinner and special dessert. Dinner was shrimp appetizers and steak and potatoes. Being a big girl, I polished it off rather quickly. My Grandma told me she was concerned about my weight, but still wanted me to have dessert. She had bought two expensive slices of chocolate cheesecake and put them out on the table. She told me to wait for her to come back from the bathroom, so we could both enjoy a slice- its her favorite dessert. I couldn’t wait, so I wolfed down my slice in minutes. She still wasnt back and I was still hungry. Without thinking, I decided it wouldnt matter to her, and I ate her slice of cheesecake too. When she came back, I was still cramming the last piece of her cake in my mouth. She asked me rudely “What are you doing?”, and I said with my mouth full “Uh-oh”. Crumbs flew from my mouth and hit her glasses. She asked me to leave, that I was a pig for eating her dessert. I told her to watch
her damnn mouth and that she could just eat some cookies. She yelled at me and explained how much that cheesecake cost her, and I explained to her that I got hungry. She still wanted me to leave, but I wouldnt get up. Then I farted and giggled, and she called my Mom to come get me. I dont get why Grandma can’t lighten up.

Upon plain reading of Leviticus 11:9-12 I read that eating Shrimp is an abomination. I understand many believe that the wording of it is such that its the shrimp that are dirty and not the eating, even thout the wording in the NKJV is verse 12:Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales—that shall be an abomination to you (NKJV). I understand from Matthew 15:11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.(NKJV) is used to say that we are no longer under the dietary restrictions from Leviticus.
If you answer that Leviticus was good rules for the desert becaus of food preparation, did food prepraration change in Jesus’s time making it ok to eat shrimp? Is it still a sin to eat shrimp, is it still an abmonination? Did Jesus reverse the ruling much like in the Constitution the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments reverse out the slavery rules in the original 1789 document, the 3/5 rule for example was eliminated.

alright im going to new hampshire at the mouth of a river and fishing off a dock into saltwater/freshwater (kinda a mix but much more saltwater) and im looking to catch small stripers. well im using a llbean light saltwater reel with a six foot freshwater rod rod (im 13).my line is 6lb test which i think is more than enough. and i was wondering what type of bait i should use ? also if i can make any inprovements to my set.
i have all different sized hooks any where from 1/0 to 8/0 I was thinking 6/0 or mby 4/0. and i have one of those three hooks in one that i think is size 8/0
i have some frozen shrimp (which i use to eat) would that be good bait if i cut it up into small chunks ?
