we have just bought 2 shrimps the other week and only seen one of them. The other one tends to stay on top of the pump. Do they eat much too. I have asked a couple of questions lately about these as I havent got a clue about them and still learning so would appreciate any answers. Thankyou .I have checked a couple of web sites out and they dont really give you a lot of info about the shrimps I have.
I didnt read about them because we never thought we would buy them until we seen them in our local pet store and we asked about them and said they were ok to put into tropical tank. We thought it would finish our tank off nicely. And it does its just now I am learning about them .

They are mountain shrimp not ghost shrimp (just for reference) thanx

what does it taste like?

i havent eaten seafood most of my whole life. i ask my husband what does shrimp taste like or lobster. i see commercials and it looks good but im afraid. actually when i was 8 yrs old i had fish on fridays from catholic school and i threw up everytime after so i was terrified of puking and stayed away from it since and now im 30yrs old. in your best words and to your best answer explain what it would taste like…. chicken with catchup? what? my uncle said he would give me $100 if i ate a piece of shrimp. i couldnt and i was 12yrs old then. is this wierd and funny? i think so.
oh yeah when i was about 8, my other bad reaction was when my mom made that tuna helper…. yup threw that up too in bed. sorry guys to gross you out but i think im “allergic”? i dont know but ill try something soon before i die.

What should I feed my sunfish?

I just got a pet sunfish (it might be a perch, but as it’s still a minnow, I am not sure). I have some leftover dried shrimp fish food. will it eat that type? i havent been able to tell if it has eaten anything yet, and I dont want it to starve. Thanks!

freshwater tank and it will be 10-20 i havent decided yet. What are good fish and/or bottom feeders to start with??? i already know that i want 1 or 2 ghost shrimp.
