im startting a marine tank with research?

ive had my freshwater tank for about a year and its a 55gal but they used to be in a 30 gal, should i stick with that or up to a 40 gal. I am definitely getting at least 2 bangaii cardinals. im getting live sand and live rock, is live rock and coral the same thing, i dont think so but my dad does. im trying for a pistol shrimp and a black ray goby for the symbiosis effect, im sure they should all fit in their with a sea anemone. would these fish and anemone work out?
ok so no to the anemone, and im doing great with my other tanks and i didnt really ask anything about coral besides if it was the same as live rock, which i already knew it wasnt =P looks like im done with that extra months worth

Saltwater conversion?

So i had a 10gallon freshwater tank with 2 fishes.
My parents decided to buy me fishes without telling me.
They got me 2 baby clownfish and a cleaner shrimp.
I couldn’t resist so i went and got instant ocean.
I cleaned EVERYTHING.
Now i have a bacteria bloom in my tank.
I decided to let the cleaner shrimp in.
The 2 baby clown fish are in the plastic bag, its opened but its floating in the water

I was thinking ill just leave them in the bag floating on the top of the tank till things stabilize and ill just feed them in there.
Will they survive in bag or do i need to add water etc?

What other fish should i buy for my 55g freshwater tank?

i have a 55f freshwater for about 6 months, its cycled and everything, i currently have;
-2 angelfish, each about 4″ long
-1 some sort of bass thing, thin but long, wont grow too long, its about 4-5″ long right now
-5 painted tetra
-3 yellow tetra (2″ long)
-2 neon tetra
-1 shrimp 2″ long
-1 baby gourami
-3 bottom feeders
-1 snail
-2 “sucker-fish that are bottom feeders, idk exactly what they r but they r yellowish, “suck” on the glass, and are not the foot long bottom feeders, the plesc——–… one is 3″long and the other is 2

it sounds crowded but it honestly isnt… it looks like there arent even fish in there… i do frequent water changes (once a week) and have a marineland 350 filter, so its enough. What other fish should i add, im going to a big fish store on sunday? Thx! plz no bottom feeders and no fish under 2″ long but no more thaan 6″, NO AGGRESSIVE FISH!
bought 2 cichlids just like that i think they were african or w/e).. both died .. they were so scared and timid the 1st week i couldnt get them 2 eat..

Established Saltwater Tank?

I have a 80 galloon saltwater tank and its been running for 2-3 years. I have mainly damsels (4) with a cinnimon clown, and a blackcap basslet. I had a flame angel, a lawnmower blenny, a coral banded shrimp, a pink tip haitian anenome, and a puffer. All of those have either been given away or died… the puffer ate the shrimp. A lot of the clean up crew has died and I need to replenish their ranks. I want to get rid of the damsels…well 3 of them and get some more interesting fish. Does anyone want some damsels? (1) 3 stripe, (1) 4 stripe, and (1) lemon damsel? If not they might get flushed if I can’t get my girlfriend to convert her freshwater tank to saltwater and take care of them. What are some lively interesting fish I could get? I’m hoping for some that won’t disturb the hermits and snails. Also, I want to get another coral banded shrimp since the puffer that ate the last one is gone. Any ideas would be cool, thanks.
