Hello, I was wondering if there were any saltwater fish that can go in a 5g tank. I currently have 5 freshwater tanks up and running but have never had a saltwater tank. I know everything about fish “bigger is better” but i was just wondering what could live in a 5g. I dont want shrimp or anything.. Also if there are any fish can they live with corals or anything else. I am not worried about prices…all suggestions welcomed.
I would also like to know what else would need to be in the tank. I would get live sand but would i need a peice of live rock and would coral work?? thanks

My wife surprised me by setting up a 10 gallon saltwater tank for my birthday while i was away for work. The problem is (and I haven’t told her this because i dont want her to feel bad) is that she got bad advice on setting it up at the aquarium.
1) It is a freshwater tank set up as a saltwater tank.
2)It didnt have enough live rock to start with.
3) it didnt even have a filter to start or a heater!
Anyway, we have the tank healthy now and we have one happy damsel living comfortably in it with some snails, a crab, and a fire shrimp. We want to get rid of the damsel because I heard he will be aggressive to other fish,.
My question is what type and how many fish can we put in this aquarium now? And is it possible to convert to a nano aquarium though it has cycled already? I am thinking maybe we can only put two clown fish in there.
i need to know what shrimp can live with and not get eaten i dont remember what kind it was but i need HELP…are all shrimp saltwater??? or are some freshwater?
I have a breeding pair of Freshwater Angelfish in a 12 gallon eclips. They layed eggs about 4 days ago and now the little eggs have little tails and some have eyes. I want to put them in a 10 gallon breeding tank. what would i need to set them up. i also heard that you are supposed to feed the babies some little shrimp larva but i dont know where to get them.
Also is there anything that i can do to get the babies a really bright color. i heard of raising them under continuse light but the tank would be in my room so i dont think i could do that
any tips or answers would be great.
