Breeding FW shrimp ?

I’ve decided I’m going to use my 10 gallon to breed freshwater shrimp. Now I’m wondering what kind of shrimp to breed, and need some info on how to go about doing it. I was thinking about crystal reds, but they’re a bit expensive. Cherry reds, on the other hand, seem too cheap and not worth breeding. Another option I was considering are yellow shrimp. What kind of shrimp would be easy to breed, and make a little money too? I’d also love any info on how to breed them, proper tank setup, etc. Links would be nice. Thanks in advance

Crystal Red Shrimp Eating

Three generations of CRS, feeding on an algae wafer in my three gallon planted nano aquarium. The shrimp vary from about a quarter of an inch long to almost an inch. A pregnant female muscles her way into center frame around 1:01. The orange-brown snail in the lower right is a tracked nerite, a bit smaller than an acorn. The slug-like critters cruising around the in the lower right foreground are planaria. Blech. Music is “Boombox” by the Mosquitos.

Crystal red bee shrimp in nano cube tank video update

Back in May we uploaded a video to show we had been successful with our adult crystal red bee shrimps having babies. Since then they have had had more young and the activity is amazing! We have put together a video of more recent clips showing how active they are and to give you an idea of how many there are. They really are amazing little creatures to watch.
