Can guppies live in freshwater without aquarium salt added?

I have a ten gallon tank with a betta, 8 glofish, and 3 shrimp. I want to add some guppies, but I saw that they need aquarium salt added. Can I just put the guppies in without adding the salt or will the salt kill my other fish?

do freshwater shrimp need to have constant bubbles to add oxygen in their water?

i have a betta fish and i was thinking about getting him a shrimp as a tankmate, but i’m at college and during breaks i’m taking him home to stay in a little bowl until I come back and put him in his tank. So would my shrimp be able to stay the bowl or would I have to leave him at college? I wouldn’t be able to feed him then, but there are plants and roots for him to nibble on.
Is it doable? Should I forget the whole thing? Any suggestions?
oh my tank my betta is in already has an air pump in it. it all came together in a betta kit. it’s not good for the betta?
