This is my six week old community trpoical aquarium. I plan to add about 20 more tetras in about 5 species. look out for the Amano Shrimps, they’re great and I will be adding some Cherry Shrimps soon. Next tank will be a 30″ planted shrimp tank, will be making the lighting system myself, so please look back soon. I just got two African Dwarf Frogs today and the salesperson at the pet store gave me bottom feeder shrimp pellets and Omega One freshwater fish flakes. I understand they eat bloodworms and brineshrimp but is this appropriate to feed them? I put some in the tank today (2 pellets and a couple flakes) and they swam right over them. I know they are getting used to their new home, but will they eat the food? And how long should I wait before taking any uneaten food out of the tank?

As of right now I am unable to keep anything frozen, but would reptomin pellets work?
And the sales person at the petstore told me to feed them twice a day. But I have also heard only 3-4 times a week. Which one?
They have yet to eat. I got them on Sunday afternoon. I went out an got Reptomin and put a couple of small pieces in there today and yesterday. Yesterday one of the frogs put it in his mouth and spit it back out. Any more advice? I also ordered aquatic frog food online. It should be here in a couple days

I just bought an african dwarf frog. It died after 6 days of having it. It was in a tank with two other tropical fish in a 5 or 6 gallon tank. I tried to feed it Frozen Brine Shrimp, and Baby Shrimp. I think it died from starvation. Did I feed it wrong, or did I give it the wrong food?? Would bloodworms work better?

I have an African Clawed Frog, and I was just wondering who else has one. What kind of foods do you give yours? What kind of tank? Tankmates? Mine is an Albino, and is a female. Her name is Peace Out Hippie. (Hippie for short) She’s getting fat on Shrimp Pellets, and lives with several fish.
