  1. yes it can have a heater but they don’t need it. the goldfish might eat the frog i had a gold fish and it ate my sucker fish and i do not know anything about ghost shrimp.

  2. make sure the goldfish is not huge.
    i had a giant shunbunkin and it ate my frog!
    ya….
    but the fish got some nasty claw marks
    they dont NEED one ,but it would be nice for them

  3. Goldfish like temperatures in the high 60′s , not warmer and a goldfish would eat a dwarf frog. One goldfish needs a minimum of a 20 gallon tank too.

  4. As long as your water temperatures are below 76 your goldfish will be fine. (anywhere between 55-76) Although the cooler the better. If you keep the temp there, they should both be fine.

    As for the ghost shrimp, if your goldie is small enough there should be no problem. However once he gets large, he may look at him as food, try keeping your goldie on a veggie diet supplemented with high protein foods.

  5. as long as you don’t go over 76 degrees F then they’ll be ok I keep my tank at 74 with a heater so my rubber lip plecos are happy and the goldfish are fine to.

  6. frog?= frog on in with goldfish just harder for frog to feed as goldfish are very greedy as for the heater ? yes but expect the goldfish to grow faster in heated tank it increases there heart rate which in turn increases the mottabalism think spelt it right lol they dont need dry land but be cautious of them escaping they are great at escaping
