Shrimp is high in bad cholesterol (LDL). Good cholesterol (HDL) can only come from rigorous physical activity and moderate alcohol consumption.

They are good protein and have little to no fat but very very high in cholesterol. Yes they are good for you as long as you don’t eat a bunch of fatty foods along with them.

As long as you do not have high cholesterol, it’s OK, but shell fish are a high cholesterol food.
